01. About Me

Electronic Engineering graduate and Erasmus Mundus Joint Master student in Sustainable Systems Engineering, with a focus on AI-assisted systems engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering, embedded machine learning and cyber-physical Systems-of-Systems.

My work combines artificial intelligence, engineering modelling and software development. I have hands-on experience developing intelligent assistants for technical-document analysis, structured scenario generation and engineering decision support, alongside projects in embedded AI, optimisation, simulation and control.

Beyond engineering, competitive alpine skiing shaped my discipline and resilience. International experience across Europe and more than 50 countries continues to inform my interest in technology and global security.

  • Working on an industrial thesis focused on the development of an AI assistant supporting a naval simulation and decision-support framework within the maritime engineering domain.
  • Supporting the use of UAF/SysML architectural models to structure operational scenarios, system viewpoints, requirements, functions, resources, and traceability links.
  • Exploring how AI-based support can assist engineers in extracting, interpreting, and connecting information from technical documentation, MBSE artefacts, and structured scenario data.

AI Assistant for Operational-Scenario Modelling

Developed an AI-assisted workflow for a specialized platform used to model and define complex operational scenarios in the naval engineering domain. The system extracts structured information from technical documents, identifies missing or inconsistent data, generates validated JSON configurations and provides grounded question-answering over documents and databases. It also supports scenario validation, comparison and interpretation of performance indicators.

Embedded ski-activity recognition hardware and application

Embedded ML Ski-Activity Recognition

Engineered a Flutter-based mobile app for BLE data acquisition with Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense. Developed wearable IMU logger and trained on-device CNN achieving 98% real-time accuracy in classifying slalom, snow-plough, tuck and push-off movements.

AnyLogic elevator control-system simulation

Petri-Net Model of Elevator Control System with AnyLogic Implementation

Developed and verified a minimal Petri-net model of a single-car elevator across three floors using PIPE². Computed incidence matrices, reachability graphs, and invariants to prove conservation, boundedness, and liveness. Verified deadlock-freedom and graceful termination. Simulated and analyzed control logic behavior in AnyLogic.
